Creating a Cabochon

Many people have expressed an interest when I tell them I cut and polish cabochons to incorporate into my designs.  So with the help of my sister-in-law (Sue) who joined me at the Kingston Lapidary & Mineral Club, I pieced together a video to show the process after the initial shape has been cut with a trim saw.  The raw cabochon is stuck with dop wax onto a piece of dowel which not only protects our fingers but also helps with more precise shaping.
